We were one among top 8 in NXP All India challenge

Silizium Circuits is one among the eight NXP FabCI 2021Cohort Qualifiers! A 2-year Incubation & Acceleration Program with multiple associated benefits.

The initiative jointly hosted by NXP and FabCI IIT Hyderabad had received 50+ applications out of which 35 startups were shortlisted for the next stage, and then 11 startups for Virtual Boot Camp / final Pitching Round, at last, 8 startups could impress the juries across the industry to become part of the 2021 Cohort.

Silizium Circuits is proud to have a good start of our long-term association with the NXP & FabCI leadership team through this program.

Prof. Priyadarsan Patra on board

Dr Priyadarsan Patra earlier served as a Chief Architect and Principal Scientist at the R&D divisions of Intel Corp (USA) and as the Dean of Research at Xavier University. Over the years, he created and led world-class research and development for Servers, Systems-on-Chip, processors, and smart devices. His current research interests include applications of Machine Learning, Big Data & Cloud Computing, and Low-power and intelligent systems design. He has edited multiple technical proceedings, has authored 80+ scholarly publications, 4 scientific books, 13 USA and international patents, and other influential articles. Prof. Patra had developed an architecture for building Single Flux Quantum Circuits and adiabatic circuits for his dissertation.
Elected Senior Member of both the IEEE and the ACM, and an IE Fellow, Prof. Patra is the Founding Chair of the global IEEE System Validation and Debug Technology Committee, and serves on several boards.

Dr. Patra holds a Ph.D. degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.S. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and a B.Engg from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Passionate about social development and volunteerism worldwide over 25+ years, he has founded the Sustainable Economic and Educational Development Society (SEEDS) and has worked on sustainable and appropriate technology, various facets of better access to education, and women’s empowerment, through multiple initiatives in India and abroad.“

Dr. Patra is currently the Dean and Professor of Computing Sciences at UPES University, Dehradun.

Silizium Circuits has been declared as the Winner of the MV Startup Challenge “INTELLIGENCE IN CHIP TOMORROW OF INTEGRATED CIRCUITS (ICTIC) hosted jointly by Maker Village, Digital University Kerala, IEEE MSME & Startups Forum – Bharat, IEEE Kerala Section, IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) and Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC)

The conference offered a great learning experience at micro levels of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The line-up of industry veterans and international figures in different panels, sessions, and discussions gave us different perspectives of Intelligence In Chip and its future.

Incubation agreement with Maker Village

Silizium Circuits is delighted to inform the selection for incubation at Maker Village. Maker Village Kochi is the largest electronic hardware incubator and ESDM facility in India, which is a pioneering startup initiative of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India with Indian Institute of Information Tech & Mgt-Kerala Trivandrum as the implementation agency and Kerala Startup Mission as the supporting partner.

Silizium Circuits will now have access to various Test and Measurement Equipment, Boards, Kits, Lab Equipments, SMT Assembly Line, and Engineering facilities. Maker Village’s liaison with Government/Statutory authorities and Angel Investors/Venture Capitalists will increase Silizium Circuit’s access to more projects and funds.

Won the Kerala Startup Mission Idea Grant

We are proud to announce that Silizium Circuits have won the Kerala Startup Mission Idea Grant. The grant primarily enables startups in the conversion of a prototype to MVP and supports them financially. In addition, Kerala Startup Mission provides further grants to support the productization, scaleup, and R&D stages

Joining of Mr. Antarpreet Singh to the board of Advisors of Silizium Circuits.

We are glad to announce the joining of Mr. Antarpreet Singh to the board of Advisors of Silizium Circuits.

He is a research pioneer, startup evangelist and thought leader in the field of Digital Transformation, Digital HR, Strategic Entrepreneurship, Future skills & Human capital development. With around 35 years of association with Global technology companies, he has held various Leadership positions with Fujitsu, Tellabs, Lucent-AT&T, Alcatel Lucent and Reliance Jio. In his previous stint as Head of APAC Alcatel Lucent university (24 campuses in APAC, global presence in 132 countries) and the Chief Learning Officer of Reliance Jio, Antarpreet has built strong collaborations with several premier B-Schools. He has been instrumental in inspiring and promoting Entrepreneurs to position and scale up their ventures.

In his role Mr. Antarpreet Singh will contribute to the activities pertaining to Fund Raising, Silizium Academy and its future goals.

Shortlisted among the top 100 semi-finalists for the Swadeshi Microprocessor Challenge.

Silizium Circuits is shortlisted among the top 100 semi-finalists for the Swadeshi Microprocessor Challenge.

Through the challenge, the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) supports start-ups to drive #AatmaNirbharta in the microprocessor hardware domain.

The semi-finalists are provided free access through Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and CDAC to Swadeshi Processors & FGPA Boards of Xilinx which is supported by CoreEL Technologies. Also, a total ₹ 1.0 Crore of development fund is allotted for MVP/POC.

We are immensely excited by this recognition and motivated to bring India to its semiconductor prowess.
