Faculty Upskilling Program is the first step envisaged to guide, train and upskill the electronics/electrical faculty community in the country, who will act as the brand ambassadors in promoting and mentoring semiconductor aspiring students in their campuses.
Fabless Chip Design Incubator (FabCI) IIT Hyderabad and Silizium Circuits has laid out a series of webinars and workshops to provide hands-on experience in ASIC Product Designing cycle, after which the faculties will get an opportunity to participate in the Product Design Challenge.
The event welcomes any faculty in India who is passionate about semiconductors and want hands-on experience in Chip Design. This will be an excellent opportunity to understand end-to-end semiconductor product design cycle and will get a chance to develop a product contributing to their knowledge gain and Make in India initiatives. Pre-incubation support will be offered by FabCI IIT Hyderabad for the Product Design Challenge finalists.
Selected faculty members will get an opportunity to join hands with the R&D team of Silizium Circuits. Silizium Circuits will also offer live projects internship opportunities for their students to pursue Bachelor/Master thesis on the latest technology in semiconductor industry.
The online registration for the first batch will start on this Engineer’s Day, 15th September 2021.
